Pulau Perhentian, Terengganu, 2–5 April 2026 – ERL in collaboration with CIMB and Alunan Coral Project participated in a four-day coral planting initiative at Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Terengganu as part of its ongoing commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.
The initiative brought together 24 participants for a series of hands-on activities aimed at raising awareness of marine conservation and supporting coral reef restoration efforts. Guided by the Alunan Coral Project team, participants took part in reef awareness sessions, snorkelling, coral propagation and planting activities, gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting marine ecosystems.
Beyond contributing to coral conservation efforts, the programme provided an opportunity for participants to experience environmental stewardship first-hand while strengthening collaboration among participating organisations.
Through partnerships and hands-on environmental initiatives, ERL continues to promote greater environmental awareness and encourage collective responsibility towards building a more sustainable future.
