Building Homes, Transforming Lives: ERL Supports Orang Asli Community Through EPIC Homes

Building on its involvement in 2025, ERL in collaboration with YTL Foundation once again participated in the EPIC Homes initiative to construct a home for an Orang Asli family in Kerling, Hulu Selangor. This continued involvement reflects ERL’s commitment to supporting underserved communities and creating meaningful, long-term social impact.

The initiative saw nine ERL employees volunteer their time and effort to support the construction of the home, contributing to a meaningful cause that aims to improve living conditions for underserved communities. Through hands-on participation, the volunteers worked towards a shared goal of providing a safer and more comfortable living environment for the beneficiary family. Beyond the construction effort, the programme also fostered teamwork, empathy and a stronger sense of social responsibility among participating employees. The initiative forms part of the wider EPIC Homes programme, which seeks to bridge the gap between urban and rural communities by bringing together volunteers to build safe homes for Orang Asli families across Peninsular Malaysia.

ERL’s continued participation demonstrates its dedication to sustaining community-focused initiatives and encouraging employees to contribute towards positive social change. Through collaborative efforts with partners such as YTL Foundation, ERL continues to support initiatives that uplift communities and contribute towards building a more inclusive and sustainable society.
